In-House Diagnostic Laboratory
We have a complete in-house diagnostic laboratory that provides our veterinarians with real-time results and allows for an immediate and accurate diagnosis. We partner with IDEXX Reference Lab for specialized laboratory testing when needed.
When a pet is sick or injured, sometimes a thorough physical exam is not enough to determine the cause. We understand that you want your pet to feel better as soon as possible. Our complete in-house diagnostic laboratory gives us the capability to perform a large menu of diagnostic tests including:
- Complete Red and White Blood Cell Count
- Blood Chemistry Panels
- Electrolyte Panels
- Coagulation Panels
- Urinalysis
- Fecal Examination including Giardia Testing
- Vector Borne (Tick) Disease Testing
- Heartworm Disease Testing
- Feline Leukemia/FIV Testing
- Thyroid testing
- Ear Cytology
- Skin Scraping
- Cytology of solid tissue and fluid analysis
- Systemic Inflammation Monitoring/Testing
- Pancreatitis Testing
What We Don’t Do
We do not provide routine wellness services (vaccines), and we do not keep pets overnight for hospitalization. If your pet is diagnosed with a serious condition, we will discuss other options with you, including the possible need for transfer to a 24-hour veterinary emergency center for further care.
