Our Veterinarians
Dr. Jane Lazzara
Veterinarian/Owner
Dr. Lazzara received her Bachelor of Science degree at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL (1998), and graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitt’s, West Indies (2003).
Dr. Lazzara did her clinical year of training at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and went on to complete a 1 year internship in medicine and surgery at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists on Long Island, NY.
Dr. Lazzara has veterinary clinical experience in the areas of general medicine & surgery, shelter medicine & surgery, emergency medicine & surgery, and industry. She has practiced in Long Island, NY, Nashville, TN, Chicago, IL and Northwest Indiana.
Dr. Lazzara is a Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) speaker and has given numerous lectures on topics in veterinary medicine throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
Dr. Lazzara is a past member of the Humane Indiana Board of Directors and Veterinary Advisory Board.

Cassie, CVT/RVT
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)/Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Cassie attended the Vet Tech Institute at Fox College in Chicago (2012). Cassie is dual licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).
She has experience in general medicine and shelter medicine. Cassie is devoted to rescue work, including fostering and adoption of dogs and cats.
Kaylin, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Kaylin attended the Vet Tech Institute at Indianapolis (2018), and earned her Registered Veterinary Technician License (RVT).
She has experience in all areas of general medicine and exotic medicine. Kaylin has a special interest in the areas of veterinary anesthesia and surgery.
Nicole, CVT
Nicole attended the Vet Tech Institute in Chicago (2016) and earned her Certified Veterinary Technician License (CVT). She has experience in all areas of general practice as well having a special interest in exotic medicine and emergency.
Kourtney, CVT/RVT
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Assistant Animal Laboratory Technician (ALAT)
Kourtney attended Joliet Junior College Veterinary Medical Technology Program (2012). Kourtney is dual licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).
She has experience in general medicine, exotics medicine, and emergency medicine. Kourtney is also certified in Veterinary Ultrasonography by the Academy of Veterinary Imaging.
Sam, CVT/RVT
Sam attended the Vet Tech Institute at Fox College in Chicago (2016). She is dual licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). She has experience in all aspects of general medicine and loves being able to build relationships with pets and their owners.
Cheyanne, CVT/RVT
Cheyanne attended the Vet Tech Institute at Fox College in Chicago (2021). She is dual licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). She has experience in general medicine and emergency. She enjoys being able to learn and grow within the veterinary field and being able to connect with other animal lovers.
Megan, CVT
Megan attended the Vet Tech Institute in Chicago (2017) and earned her Certified Veterinary Technician License (CVT). She has experience in all areas of general practice as well as internal medicine and emergency. She enjoys being able to provide comfort and make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
